Tanzania · Private, tailor-made

Safaris, planned one at a time

Seven journeys through Tanzania’s northern parks and the quiet south. Every one private, every one adjustable, each offered at two levels of comfort.

How we plan

Nothing here is fixed. These itineraries are starting points — we move days, swap camps and change the pace until the trip fits the people travelling.

Two ways to travel

The real difference isn’t the bedlinen

Every journey below is offered at two levels. The gap in price is mostly about where you sleep — and what your guide is allowed to do once you’re out there.

Mid-range

From about $450 per person per day

Comfortable tented camps and lodges inside the parks. En-suite, hot water, good food, your own vehicle and guide.

Camps inside national parks follow park rules: no off-road driving, no night drives, and a set return time. Game viewing is excellent but follows the tracks.

Typically Serengeti Serena, Kubu Kubu, Maramboi, Ngorongoro Sopa.

Luxury

From about $850 per person per day

Small camps and lodges, often on private concessions, with far fewer guests and a higher level of guiding and food.

On private land your guide sets the rules: off-road tracking, night drives, walking, and rarely another vehicle at a sighting. This freedom is what you are paying for.

Property names to be confirmed — placeholders for now.

The journeys
